In response to the unfortunate fire at Tai Po Wang Fuk Court on November 26, 2025, the HKCSS established the ‘Caring Company Scheme: Support Fund for Tai Po Wang Fuk Court’ the day after the incident. This fund collects donations from businesses and foundations through the Caring Company Scheme’s online fundraising platform. As of the end of February 2026, this platform has raised approximately HKD 24 million. The online fundraising platform has already stopped accepting donations. This letter aims to report on the progress of the Fund's usage and invite those interested in applying for the Fund to submit proposals.

As of April 2023, the directory listed 713 SE units run by 381 organisations. Of these, 149 were charitable organisation exempt from tax under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance, about 40% of the total.
