Founded in 2004 by Puifung and two like-minded friends, Fair Taste (HK) was the first Fair Trade social enterprise established in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Taiwan. Having previously worked at Oxfam HK and Greenpeace, Puifung was clearly aware that unfair trading has led to poverty and environmental degradation in our world. Knowing that large corporations decide how the majority of our world resources are used, Puifung hopes to run a sustainable business that is also ethical. In the very same year, the first local Fair Trade brand – FAIRTASTE – was born. From there, we are all set to spread our FAIRTASTE spirit beyond.
Products and Services
FAIRTASTE is the first Fair Trade brand in Hong Kong, a social enterprise devoted to promote Fair Trade Organic products and ethical consumption. FAIRTASTE products are locally made, delicious, fresh and free of additives. We believe everyone can contribute to a sustainable future by buying, serving and gifting Fair Trade products.
