(Publication Date: 2024-12-24) Managed by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS), the SE Directory has launched a brand-new website with the same name in December 2024 (formerly known as the "Social Enterprise Business Centre").

(Publication Date: 2023-10-24) (The Social Enterprise Directory (SE Directory), managed by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) since 2007, serves as a platform to connect local social enterprises (SEs) with customers and promote their products and services to a wider audience.

(Publication Date: 2023-06-02) The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) manages the Social Enterprise Directory (SE Directory) to connect local social enterprises (SEs) with customers and promote their products and services to a wider audience. As of April 2023, the directory listed 713 SE units run by 381 organisations. Of these, 149 were charitable organisation exempt from tax under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance, about 40% of the total.

(Publication Date: 2022-09-08) Social Enterprise Business Centre (SEBC) compiles the Social Enterprise Directory (SE Directory) every year. As of April of 2022, there were 711 social enterprise (SE) units, reflecting a 7.9% increase from the previous year. These SE units were run by 368 organisations. 147 (39.9%) of them are charitable organisation (i.e. exempt from tax under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance), while 221 (60.1%) are not.

HKCSS, in partnership with HKEX Foundation again in setting up the HKEX Impact Funding Scheme (the Scheme). With a grant of extra HK$10 million, the Scheme supports social enterprises (SEs) to implement community projects with the mission of solving social and environmental issues. The Scheme accepts applications from eligible SEs starting from today.
