Diamond Cab (HK) Ltd. is a private enterprise offering point-to-point transportation services for wheelchair users. Up to Mar 2024, we have 5 barrier-free taxis or 1 barrier-free hire car that allow wheelchair users to board directly and provides a legal and safe transportation means for wheelchair users and their care-givers. Up to Mar 2024, we have successfully completed over 200,000 barrier-free trips.

Apart from developing barrier-free transportation, Diamond Cab team is dedicated to change the barrier-free culture by different social innovation. One of the initiatives is called Diamond Leisure starting from 2014, with the financial support of charity sponsorship, we collaborate with the privately owned elderly homes and organize weekly barrier-free evening outings for the elders who are suffering from loneliness. Starting from 2024, Diamond Leisure – Premium Service also starts to serve the affordable elders and carers with exclusive barrier-free remote routine design experience.

Starting from 2023, Diamond Cab further develops Diamond Cab 2.0 with the mission of Building Happy Aging Infrastructure, providing the new training course for the barrier-free taxi drivers to have Driving with Empathy. A new Simulator will train more quality barrier-free taxi drivers and carer drivers.

Products and Services

Diamond Cab provides 24hrs Hotline 2760-8771 for booking the 5 wheelchair accessible taxis or 1 wheelchair accessible hire car. Traditional Diamond Cab accommodates maximum 2 wheelchair passengers and 2 passengers or 1 wheelchair passenger and 4 passengers. Diamond Cab LITE accommodates 1 wheelchair passenger and 1 passenger or 4 passengers. For single trips, the minimum charge of cab fare is HK$165, depending on the exact routines, confirmation after quotation. Cancellation within 24 hours will charge HK$100 per booking. Diamond Leisure - Premium Service, Seeing the smiling faces on the wheelchair again! Passengers can choose the themes either focusing on the stunning views or the nostalgic food style. Experienced Diamond Leisure Officers and Diamond Cab Drivers will help to suggest the barrier-free remote routine and an instant photo album will be presented to the passengers. For 4 passengers including wheelchair passengers, Diamond Leisure - Premium Service charges $4,188 or above. Driving with Empathy Barrier-free Taxi Driver Training Course with 4 modules 3 days x 8 hours totally 24 hours include the theory of Driving with Empathy, wheelchair boarding and the Simulator practice. Each student will be charged for $5,000. A digital certification will be presented to all graduates.
