According to 2020 figures from the Equal Opportunities Commission, there are more than 530,000 people with disabilities in Hong Kong. According to figures from the Government Census and Statistics Department in 2019, there are more than 610,000 housewives in Hong Kong, who are an important source of labor force. Through pre-employment and on-the-job training, people with disabilities and housewives can become florists and earn income. In addition to providing meaningful and respectful jobs, we also alleviate poverty and promote social equity and gender equality. Florist work and maintenance of plants are also an important part of coping with climate change and protecting life on land. iFlorist actively cooperates with like-minded companies and institutions to bring more job and training opportunities to employees, and also makes the business prosperous, forming a virtuous cycle.
