Founded in 1976, Xianggang Putonghua ,Yanxishe (XPY 香港普通話研習社) is the first non-profitable Putonghua institution which aims to promote Putonghua by holding classes, training, interest groups and competitions. We established our first school, Xianggang Putonghua Yanxishe Primary School of Science & Creativity in Tin Shui Wai, in 2001. In this school, all subjects except English language are taught in Putonghua. Besides, every year, we publish learning materials and design tailor-made teaching resources for the government, schools and various private institutions.
Being a non-profitable educational institution, we embrace the mission of promoting Putonghua. Apart from teaching Putonghua, we launch a series of promotional events for Putonghua learning in the local community.
