Hong Kong Aquaculture Limited is a social enterprise dedicated to sustainable aquaculture and social inclusion. We employ environmentally friendly and innovative aquaculture technologies to produce high-quality, locally farmed seafood. Through our "Aquaculture Empowerment Program", we provide training and employment opportunities for young individuals with autism and those with special educational needs (SEN). We believe that everyone possesses unique abilities, and with the right environment and support, they can develop their potential and integrate into society.
Our work not only enhances Hong Kong’s self-sufficiency in fisheries and reduces reliance on imported seafood, but also empowers SEN individuals by equipping them with professional training in aquaculture, ecological management, and fish processing, thereby increasing their employment competitiveness.
Furthermore, we actively collaborate with local schools, the food and beverage industry, and community organizations to promote sustainable fisheries and ethical food choices. Through these efforts, we aim to establish a more responsible seafood supply chain in Hong Kong while fulfilling corporate social responsibility and advancing environmental conservation.

Products and Services

Hong Kong Aquaculture Limited was established in 2019 and is located in the Yung Shue Au marine fish culture zone. Led by Mr. Lam Tsz Lung, Alex, we specializes in developing sustainable marine fish farming techniques tailored to Hong Kong’s waters and climate. We adhere to the principle of “sustainable seafood development”, avoiding the use of wild-caught fish fry, chemical additives, and medications. Instead, we use high-quality pellet feed as an alternative to traditional wild fish-based feed. We emphasize the philosophy that “prevention is better than cure”, enhancing fish health and immunity through natural ingredients such as probiotics, compound nutrients, fruit vinegar, and other organic supplements, ensuring superior fish quality. Our products undergo IKEJIME processing, combined with ultra-low temperature freezing and vacuum packaging. This method significantly reduces bacterial and parasite risks, ensuring a safe and high-quality seafood experience for consumers. Additionally, our fish products are pre-processed—fully cleaned of blood, internal organs, and scales using sterilized seawater—allowing for immediate cooking upon defrosting, saving time while maintaining hygiene. We are committed to promoting Hong Kong’s local aquaculture industry, offering high-quality, safe, and sustainable “Made in Hong Kong” seafood. Through active community engagement and education, we aim to raise public awareness and confidence in local aquaculture, fostering a more responsible and sustainable seafood supply chain.
