Youth Outreach (YO) launched Youth Employment Start-up Program (Y.E.S. Program) with "YES Express Service" to offer job opportunities to teenagers. Besides, YO provides a variety of job placements for at-risk youth by employing them as its Programme Assistants in order to help them develop positive working attitudes. By providing them with 1-year job opportunities, YO hopes to enable them to find jobs in the market. Some youngsters may even use their skills acquired in youth culture to develop their future career (e.g. as Thai boxing at Sai Wan Ho to offer different job training opportunities to our youth.
The YES Program does not only provide employment referrals for at-risk youth, but also instills among them proper work ethics such as punctuality, diligence and responsibility, as well as helps them establish good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude towards life. These would get them better prepared for the job market.
