Y Care (Yau Yat Chuen) is a self-funded elderly service unit under the Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association (HKYWCA). We are committed to providing high-quality care, rehabilitation, and day respite services to the elderly residing in Kowloon Tong, Kowloon City, Sham Shui Po, and Wong Tai Sin districts. Since December 2013, Y Care (Yau Yat Chuen), has been actively serving the community. We offer comprehensive day rehabilitation, nursing, and cognitive training services, catering to the diverse needs of individuals and ensuring their overall well-being, encompassing physical, mental, social, and spiritual aspects.

Products and Services

Day Center Services: 1.Professional Rehabilitation Services: Our physical therapists and occupational therapists assess and develop individualized rehabilitation plans for service users, providing regular follow-up and monitoring. 2.Diverse Cognitive Training: Engaging in new activities and diverse cognitive stimulation helps establish new neural connections and reshape brain functions. This includes reality orientation, reminiscence therapy, multisensory therapy, cognitive training, and attention training. 3.Physical Training: Enhancing muscle strength, balance, and fall prevention through targeted exercises. 4.Aromatherapy Treatment: Our qualified aromatherapists within the rehabilitation team create personalized essential oil formulas for individuals with cognitive impairments, stroke patients, and those in pain, helping to alleviate symptoms of depression, pain, sleep disorders, and more. 5.Caregiver Support: Collaborating with various professionals and organizations to provide support to caregivers. Home Care Services: 1.One-on-One Rehabilitation Exercise Services: Providing targeted one-on-one training for service users, including manual therapy, electrotherapy, and other instructional exercises to promote their rehabilitation progress. 2.Stroke Rehabilitation: Therapists develop personalized "targeted rehabilitation plans" based on individual symptoms and severity to accelerate recovery progress. Individualized Cognitive Training: Designing personalized training programs to address the specific needs of elderly individuals with cognitive impairments. 3.Aromatherapy Treatment: Tailoring individualized essential oil formulas by certified aromatherapists to cater to the needs of individuals with cognitive impairments, stroke patients, and those in pain, helping to alleviate symptoms of depression, pain, sleep disorders, and more. 4.Home Safety Assessment: Conducting on-site environmental safety assessments for seniors' residences and providing useful safety recommendations to prevent and reduce the risk of falls at home. 5.Home Care Respite Service: Providing in-home care respite service for elderly individuals in need, relieving the stress on caregivers.
