Smiling HeART originates from the story of a women experiencing emotional distress. They are determined to overcome their emotional challenges and regain confidence through creating handcrafted items. Surprisingly, the act of creating handcrafts provided them with a comfort zone. During the stitching process, they not only found inner peace but also rebuild their self-confidence.
Smiling HeART sells handcrafts made by individuals in recovery from mental illness, particularly women dealing with depression. It aims to promote social inclusion and raise public awareness about mental health.
Products and Services
Smiling HeART mainly offers various handmade decorations and practical products, including cards, fabric items, clay products, magnets, and wooden items. Addionally Smiling HeART provides employee training, lectures, and stress-reduction workshops for enterprises, schools, andinsitutions. The content includes explanations of mental health information by mental health professionals, sharing recovery stories by individuals in recovery from mental illness to help participants better understand mental health recovery, and art workshops led by handicraft instructors to teach participants how to relieve stress through artistic creation.
