- "Enhancing Employment of People with Disabilities Through Small Enterprise" Project
Caritas La Vie Bakery was established by Caritas – Hong Kong in 2005 to provide on-the-job training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities to enhance their confidence and potential so that they can be independent and self-reliant members in the society.
La Vie Bakery employs experienced bakers to train the disabilities. After they have learned the skills of the production, we will be providing the employment opportunity to the disability who are interested and capable. In 2015, the Bakery was awarded the Outstanding Social Enterprise in Hong Kong by the Social Welfare Department, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
Products and Services
La Vie Bakery products include cookies, bread, mooncakes and cross bun. All of our products are led by professional baking chef with ours trainee’s best intentions in the production. We hope to make you enjoy the delicious, while can feel the efforts and progress of ours trainees. Every time of you patronize, it also to bring more encouragement and support for people with disabilities, which can deliver the hope to them.
