OneSEN was founded in 2021 with the vision of providing appropriate support to parents of children with special educational needs (SEN). OneSEN aims to connect SEN parents with social resources through an online platform, develop a network of peers, and promote societal awareness and acceptance of SEN children and families. Additionally, ONESEN is committed to supporting the mental well-being of SEN children and their caregivers.
Products and Services
1.Integrating SEN Resources in Different Regions
In the realm of SEN information, there is a wide range of quality, and the process of gathering such information is often time-consuming and laborious. ONE SEN collaborates with multiple SEN professional organizations to establish the most comprehensive online platform for SEN activities and information, allowing parents and caregivers to easily access the information they need.
2.Supporting SEN Caregivers
SEN parents and caregivers are the best guides for their children's growth. OneSEN provides various forms of learning platforms, including online lectures, parenting workshops, and parent support groups, while actively developing a network of peer support and parent support centers to comprehensively support parents in meeting the diverse needs of their children's growth.
3.Enhancing Positive Public Attention
The general public often forms one-sided perceptions about the SEN community and caregivers, leading to misunderstandings and misconceptions. OneSEN organizes experiential workshops and lectures to deepen public understanding of the needs and talents of the SEN community and promote social inclusiveness.
4.Improving the Mental Well-being of SEN Caregivers and Children
Emotional support services are provided for SEN caregivers, including stress relief workshops and individual and family counseling services. Additionally, child-centered play therapy services are offered for SEN children aged 3 to 10, promoting their psychological development and preventing the onset of mental/psychiatric disorders.
