Established in 2007, Social Ventures Hong Kong (SVhk) is an Impact Purpose Organization committed to reimagining a purpose-driven city. SVhk drives innovative social change for Hong Kong’s urban social challenges through pioneering impact ventures, cultivating a movement of good and orchestrating impact capital. SVhk has incubated and supported over 100 impact ventures to date, including Institute of Community Making, a cross-sector action platform aiming to drive place-based innovations and partnerships, and Business with Purpose, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Management Association to create a ripple effect for change in Hong Kong and beyond. We have a firm commitment to impact areas including but not limited to business with purpose, community making, and community wellness.

Products and Services

Impact Consultancy and Advisory services: providing advisory support to stakeholders seeking to make positive social change in thematic areas including business with purpose, community making, community wellness. Prototypes derived from consultancy exercises are trialed and co-created with communities, including but not limited to Sham Shui Po, Kwun Tong, and the Northern Metropolis Movement building: we incubate cross-sector platforms including Business with Purpose and the Institute of Community Making to further mainstream the idea of community partnership and corporate social impact while encouraging collaboration and best practice sharing across stakeholders
